Luminspheres™ Kits
Luminspheres™ immunohistochemistry (IHC) staining kits contain ultra-bright multi-coloured Luminspheres™ cancer biomarker conjugates, which fluoresce simultaneously when irradiated with monochromic light of the slide imager, enabling multi-coloured imaging in a single tissue section.

Tissue Staining
The multi-coloured Luminspheres™ biomarker conjugates used to stain the tissue section bind selectively to cancer cells locating their presence and position in the tissue section.

Multi-Coloured Imaging
The multi-coloured stained tissue section is imaged using a high throughput slide-scanner. The slide-scanner's monochromatic light source causes the multi-coloured Luminspheres™ to fluoresce simultaneously and a single multi-coloured digital image to be captured .

Clinical Diagnostic Support
The multi-coloured digital image is analysed by software that quantifies the number, position and spatial pattern of the multi-coloured Luminspheres™ biomarker conjugates in the tissue section. Data analytics supports the clinical decision making process of diagnosis and choice of personalised targeted treatment; reducing the economic cost of cancer to healthcare providers and resulting in better patient outcome.
